What we sell

Three formats only.

  • Direct display banners — leaderboard above the fold, footer above the legal strip. CPM rate; max 2 advertisers per page.
  • Sponsored editorial — long-form content we write, with a clear "Sponsored by X" label at the top, your name in the byline area, and a 30-day exclusive review.
  • Newsletter sponsorships — dedicated placement in our Friday edition (41K subs). One sponsor per send, no co-mingling.
  • Affiliate program partnerships — preferred rate card for brands we already cover. Disclosed on every page where the link appears.
What we don't sell

Six things — non-negotiable.

  • Editorial score adjustments. A commercial relationship has never moved a score and never will. Period.
  • Native ads disguised as editorial. Sponsored content is labeled at the top, on the hero, and in the URL slug.
  • Programmatic ad networks. No Adsense, no Mediavine, no Taboola. We control every advertiser by name.
  • Pop-ups, intercepts, push subs. Reader experience first; we don't sell against it.
  • Backlinks. No guest-post link insertions, no "edit existing article to add link" deals.
  • Audience-data sales. We don't share aggregate analytics, segmented user data, or email lists. Newsletter delivery only.

Four rules that have never been broken in our 5 years of operation. Every advertiser signs an acknowledgement of these before we run anything.

If you find a single instance where one of these was breached, we'll refund your entire spend and publicly retract — on the homepage, with the date and amount.

Scores never move for commercial reasons.

A scoring change requires a documented re-test on our standard rig, signed off by a non-author editor. Commercial context is never visible to the scorer.

Sponsored content is labeled at every visible surface.

Hero badge, byline area, URL slug, and the article's structured-data type. Search engines see "advertorial", not "review".

No editorial pre-approvals for sponsors.

You see the draft when it's published, not before. You can request factual corrections; you cannot request tone/sentiment edits.

The 22% direct-revenue cap.

If direct advertising would exceed 22% of trailing-12-month revenue, we close inventory for the quarter. Editorial independence depends on us not needing any one advertiser.

We check fit with the audience, confirm no competitive conflicts, and run your brand through our editorial firewall checklist. Sometimes we say no.

Week 1–2

Contract & creative

Signed IO, 50% deposit, creative assets in. For sponsored content, we share the brief and confirm the writer assignment.

Week 2–4
04

Live + report

Placement goes live on the agreed date. We deliver a performance report — impressions, CTR, dwell time, conversion if tracked — within 7 days of campaign end.

Week 4–6+

Ready to pitch us?

Two placements open for Q3 2026. Mail us with format, budget range, and target dates — we respond within 48 hours and tell you yes/no without ceremony.
